The State Youth Assembly offers unique opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and service, where we come together to lay the foundation of a democratic culture based on parliamentary affairs, dialogue, respect, and actionable outcomes.

Through the State Youth Assembly, we empower young people to think critically about government policies, community needs, and global issues. Our assemblies, shadow cabinets, and various programs provide youth with the opportunity to engage in decision-making processes, learn effective leadership, and develop sustainable solutions for their communities.

Our core belief is that “youth should be equal partners in decision-making.” The future of Azad Jammu and Kashmir lies in harnessing our local resources — our mountains, rivers, agriculture, tourism, forests, and minerals — while fostering the entrepreneurial potential of youth to create diverse employment opportunities beyond government jobs. The more involved youth are in policy and decision-making, the greater the progress the state will achieve.
